Annemieke Booij
Annemieke graduated from Amsterdam University in 1994 (European Studies). In 2010 she entered the BBMM Professional Training for Benelux Trademark and Design Attorneys, and graduated in 2012.
"I got introduced to the world of trademarks when I started in a temporary job at the Legal and Trademarks department of a pharmaceutical company. It turned out to be a good match: both legal and practical, an international work environment, providing customers with sound advice''. After working at a Dutch trademark agency for a few years, Annemieke managed the trademark portfolio of said pharmaceutical company. She joined Knijff Trademark Attorneys in 2011.
"It is interesting to see that for various economic or industrial branches different issues play a role in the protection of IP. It is a challenge to timely obtain the right protection for a product or a service. Having a good relation with your client is essential in this process".
