 Owning a trademark registration does not mean that you will be informed if newly filed trademarks are infringing yours – that is why you need Knijff’s trademark watching service.

Every day thousands of trademarks are being registered worldwide. There is a chance that these marks will infringe your trademark rights. To be able to respond to these infringements, you need to be advised immediately.

A trademark registration alone is not enough
A trademark registration is necessary to be able to take action against infringement, however you need to detect this infringement yourself. This is not an easy task! That is why we will provide a free first year of trademark watching after you register a Benelux trademark with us.

Trademark watching gives you the power to act fast
If you do not file an objection to infringing marks in a timely manner, you might lose the right to do so at all. When we find a new trademark application closely resembling or identical to your own, we will inform you immediately and advise you on the right course of action.

We offer 3 types of trademark watching



 
  • All tariffs are per year and exclude VAT.
  • The subscription is for 1, 3 or 5 years. Both 1 year subscriptions and multi-year subscriptions are invoiced in advance in one invoice.
  • The watch subscription will be automatically extended for 1, 3 or 5 year, unless agreed otherwise. Cancellation of a watch subscription, if desired, is required, before December 1st of current year.
  • Cancellation of watch subscriptions should be submitted in writing.
  • Benelux surcharge for each additional class € 29,- per class, per year, European surcharge for each additional class € 88,- per class, per year and worldwide surcharge for each additional class € 123,- per class, per year.
